Is my spouse entitled to my business assets in a Florida divorce?

There are situations where a spouse would be entitled to a portion of an individual’s business. That business would have had to have been opened during the marriage or substantial efforts had to have been put into that business during the marriage. However, if it’s a business that you’ve owned prior to the marriage, that would be considered a premarital asset and would not be subject to being divided upon your divorce.
