Billionaire Elon Musk and his actress wife, Talulah Riley, are heading for divorce….again. Elon married Talulah in 2010, but they divorced in 2012. In 2013, they remarried and Elon filed for divorce in 2014, but he withdrew the petition in 2015.
This time around Talulah is the one seeking the divorce in the Los Angeles Superior Court, but it has been reported the couple agreed she would file. The couple has been living apart for the past six months. They claim they are amicable and will remain friends. They do not have children together, but Elon has five sons from a prior marriage.
The pleadings filed by Talulah cite “irreconcilable differences” and does not mention whether or not the couple has a prenuptial agreement. Talulah is seeking alimony from Elon.
Elon Musk is a co-founder of PayPal and helped start Tesla Motors, the electric car company, and SpaceX, the private space firm. Musk is also known for his support of building a hyperloop that would transport cargo and people at the speed of sound.
Talulah appeared in the films Pride and Prejudice and Inception. In 2014, she also wrote and directed the film Scottish Mussel.
According to Fox News, Talulah was sitting in the front row of the unveiling of Tesla’s Model X sport utility vehicle in September. Elon is scheduled to unveil the newest version of Tesla’s electric car, the more affordable Model 3, in the next few weeks.
