On Saturday, March 6, over 800 people came out to support the community by participating in the 2nd Annual Fiddler’s Green 5K. “There were people of all ages in attendance,” our legal assistant, Jennifer Bunting, commented, “It created a good atmosphere because everyone was enthusiastic about completing the race.”
The money raised from the event went to Special Olympics Florida and the YMCA Scholarship Fund. Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and competition in 19 Olympic-type sports for people with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, and experience joy. The YMCA Youth Scholarship Campaign supports kids and families in our community who need a helping hand.
