Gwen Stefani & Gavin Rossdale Hit Snag in their Divorce

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale’s divorce is not as amicable as originally thought. RadarOnline.com is reporting that tension between the couple is reaching its peak due to Rossdale’s financial demands. In fact, Rossdale is seeking an award of half Stefani’s wealth.

Stefani, 45, and Rossdale, 49, did not have a prenuptial agreement, a decision that is causing Stefani regret.

“Gavin is now demanding more than half of her fortune,” which is estimated to be $80-$120 million, an insider told Radar. “He has complained that while Gwen was launching her successful clothing line, continuing her music career, and expanding her brand by appearing as a judge on The Voice, he stayed home with their sons,” Kingston, 9, Zuma, 6, and Apollo, 1. Rossdale is estimated to be worth $20 million.

Further, Gavin has made threats that he will force Stefani to go to trial if he doesn’t recover a substantial amount, including child support and alimony payments. Of course, Stefani is not happy and is mad at herself for not signing a premarital agreement with Rossdale.

Meanwhile, Rossdale seems to be living a comfortable life playing tennis and spending time with the couple’s former nanny. He is living in a 3,751 square foot home in Bel Air that boasts of a lovely view of the city and has four bedrooms, which allows each of their boys to have their own room.

So, will Gwen just pay Rossdale and move on? Many are predicting that she worked too hard for her money to not push back.
