We spoke about Hollywood couple’s Heidi Klum and Seal’s previous separation.  It now seems like reconciliation will be impossible as Heidi Klum formally files for divorce.

The only statement the couple has officially made remains the joint one from the time of the separation:

“While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate.  We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart.”

At the time they said separation was amicable, no signs indicate otherwise at this point.

“Protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition,” they said. “And for our children’s sake, we appreciate you respecting our privacy.”

They have maintained that position as Heidi Klum and her lawyer have refrained from making any further statements about the divorce.  Issues of money and child custody of their four children have yet to be discussed.
