The Men’s Divorce Law Firm was proud to support Mel Taylor’s Bad Girls Club charity golf tournament on Saturday, September 18th at the Champions Gate Golf Club benefiting B.A.S.E. Camp through the sponsorship of two teams.

Guests joined the Men’s Divorce Law Firm’s team and enjoyed 18 complimentary holes of golf at the beautiful ChampionsGate course. Each team was assigned a Bad Girl to act as their caddy for the day.  After an afternoon of golfing, participants were an invited to an awards banquet, which featured an excellent menu prepared by the Master Chefs at ChampionsGate.

The event raised funds for B.A.S.E. Camp Childhood Cancer Foundation, which was established in Orlando, Florida in 1982 and provides a year-round base of support for children and families facing the challenge of living with cancer and other life-threatening hematology illnesses.

Mel’s Bad Girls Club (BGC) is an unconventional non-profit organization that was founded in March 2007 by 101one WJRR radio personality Mel Taylor. Their logo “Bad Girls Doing Good” embraces a fun-loving attitude coupled with a desire to help others.  Their mission is to be a source of support for local non-profit organizations by providing volunteers, monetary grants/donations, and items of necessity while fostering the growth of volunteerism throughout the Central Florida community with an open-door membership policy focusing on the value of individuality.

In their first year, Mel’s Bad Girls Club raised over $35,000 for numerous charities, including: the Ronald McDonald House, B.A.S.E. Camp Children’s Cancer Foundation, Hope Foundation, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Hope and Help Center for AIDS, Rock For Hunger and Susan G. Komen.
