In a recent article written in the Orlando Business Journal, it was said that, “More than half of the respondents — 57 percent [from a recent survey taken by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers] said they have seen a drop in divorce filings since the last quarter of 2008.” For many family law attorneys, this means a strong decline in business. OBJ continued to write, “Just 14 percent of those surveyed said they have noticed an increase in divorce filings.” Although dealing with divorces is an unfortunate situation for anyone involved, at the Men’s Divorce Law Firm, we are proud to say that we are one of the lucky firms to be in that 14 percent category.
