Paul Haggis, a Canadian director, screenwriter and producer, as well as an Oscar winner, has finalized his divorce. Haggis is most commonly known for being the screenwriter and producer of Million Dollar Baby and as the director of Crash.

His ex-wife, Deborah, is going to reap the benefits of his success. Haggis’s divorce settlementprovides that he will pay her $20,000 per month in alimony. The couple has a 17-year old son and Haggis will pay an additional $5,000 per month for child support. Haggis will also pay for his son’s education expenses, including paying for college.

That isn’t all Deborah will get. Haggis’s divorce settlement also provides that she will receive 20% of anything Haggis makes exceeding $1.2 million each year. In addition to the monthly payment of $20,000 in spousal support, she should be financially set.

As for Haggis, he is getting one of their two New York City apartments in SoHo and three properties in Florida.
