Top 10 Celebrity Dads
Top 10 Celebrity Dads

She Knows recently put together their Top 10 list of Celebrity Dad’s.  Check out which of your favorite stars made the list, and why She Knows felt they deserved the honor.

Matthew McConaughey

Fun-loving party boy Matthew McConaughey has settled down significantly since becoming the proud papa of little Levi Alves McConaughey. The paparazzi constantly captures Matthew and his girlfriend Camila Alves with their little one in tow, whether they are at a Texas Longhorns game or taking a stroll on the beach.

Brad Pitt

Managing six kids with partner Angelina Jolie is a feat in itself, but Brad is up for the challenge. Even though he’s publicly admitted that his home life is chaotic and he is often devoid of sleep, Brad wouldn’t have it any other way. In fact, he has even stated that he wants more kids… lots more!

Gavin Rossdale

Rock star Gavin Rossdale is not too cool for fatherhood. In fact, he revels in it. This summer he’s even on the road with his oldest son, Kingston, who is three. Gavin loves this time he has to bond with his son, who he calls “so natural, so easy.” Gavin is also dad to Zuma, who is on tour this summer with mom Gwen Stefani.

Ben Stiller

In a recent interview, proud dad Ben Stiller said he hopes for a tie for Father’s Day because, in his eyes, that’s the official status symbol of becoming a dad! The actor will do anything to make his kids smile, and he doesn’t necessarily think that being a professional funny man gives him an edge on that. He has to work just as hard as the next dad for those laughs.

Will Smith

Will is the epitome of a great father! He raps sans swear words, he respects his wife and family, and he has even acted along side his then-eight-year-old son, Jaden. And Will says he learned a big acting lesson from his child! He credited Jaden for helping him earn his Best Actor nomination in 2007 for the movie The Pursuit of Happyness (in which Jaden plays Will’s character’s son).

Ben Affleck

In Ben’s days with J.Lo, they were constantly in the public eye. When he moved on to Jennifer Garner, Ben retreated to a much more private lifestyle, which has benefited his relationship and his role as Dad. He normally dodges the limelight. But when he is caught by the paparazzi, there is a good chance that his daughters Violet and Seraphina are in tow.

Joel Madden

When Nicole Richie’s beau Joel Madden became daddy to their daughter Harlow Winter, he announced, “I had a little baby girl and she’s my one and only true love.” He loves singing songs to his daughter, especially ones by The Cure, which he claims is her favorite band! Joel and Nicole are expecting their second child together this summer, and we’re sure the little one will capture Daddy’s heart just as much as Harlow did.

Pete Wentz

Even though Ashlee Simpson-Wentz’ pregnancy wasn’t exactly planned, hubby and proud father Pete Wentz felt it was just the thing he needed to “put the wild child in a cage,” he said of his old partying ways. When Bronx arrived Pete told the media, “I want to be the best dad I can be.” Awww.

Adam Sandler

Comedian Adam Sandler is just a big goofball, which makes him perfectly suited for fatherhood. When he became a father for the first time in 2006, he told the New York Post, “I’ve got the kid [daughter Sadie Madison, now 3] – I feel relief that I don’t have to think about myself too much. I’ve had 39 years just talking about how great I am. It’s time, at age 40, to talk about the kid.” Adam and his wife now have another little girl, Sunny Madeline, who is six months.

Bruce Willis

Even though Bruce Willis and ex-wife Demi Moore got divorced and she moved on to the much younger Ashton Kutcher, there was no public mudslinging. Bruce maintains great relationships with all of his kids — and even with Demi and Ashton. We give mad props to Bruce for that!
