The Super Bowl, a special time where every man, woman, and child turns on their televisions to the same channel to laugh, scream, and cry together.  With single tickets selling for $7,000 plus it is the biggest sporting event of the year in America, save for perhaps the Olympics.

This year the Patriots faced off against the Giants in the Indianapolis stadium and the Giants took the game with a score of 21 to 17.   But, the intense battle for NFL supremacy, and Madonna’s half-time show, was only part of the entertainment value for the evening.  The other part came from the high-budget commercials, a thirty-second spot costing on average $3.5 Million USD.

Eager consumers wait year-round to see which companies will go all-out to make the funniest, most touching, commercial of the year.  This year car companies spared no expense and their commercials reign supreme on our list of the top five best commercials of the 2012 Super Bowl.
