Usher Wins Custody of His Sons
In a long divorce battle that has been going on for more than three years Usher has finally won custody of his two sons. MTV reports.
Usher filed for divorce from Tameka Foster in 2009 after the couple had been married for two years. The couple was surrounded with rumors and drama right from the start including Foster’s controlling nature, his mother’s disapproval and so on.
The drama continued through the court cases, as Foster accused the singer of being too busy with his career and doing drugs in front of his children to be a suitable father. She also told Global Grind that she never wanted to enter the custody battle to begin with and was satisfied with their previously agreed upon “joint custody” arrangement.
According to TMZ, the judge awarded Usher full primary custody of their two sons: Usher Raymond V, born in November of 2007, and Naviyd Ely Raymond, born in December of 2008. Neither party has yet to comment on the ruling.
