Former Red Hot Chili Peppers Star Will Divorce
John Frusciante, a former guitarist with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, is reportedly headed for divorce. The musician’s wife, Nicole Turley, filed the paperwork to end their nearly four-year marriage in Los Angeles citing irreconcilable differences. Turley is seeking spousal support and legal fees. The couple does not have any children. Turley is also seeking to drop Frusciante as her name and return to Turley, her maiden name.
Frusciante has reportedly retained Laura Wasser as his divorce attorney. Despite his relationship problems, Frusciante has received some good news from Glamour magazine that named him “the Sexiest Musician Alive” in the June 2015 issue. This is his second year in a row to beat out other men for the number one spot.
Frusciante has also taken another number one spot – he was named by People With Money as the top of the 10 highest-paid musicians for 2015 with an estimated $82 million in combined earnings. Frusciante has an estimated net worth of $245 million due to wise stock investments, real estate investments, and his endorsement deals with CoverGirl cosmetics. He also owns several restaurants and has pursued other lucrative ventures.
